Part Time Accounts and Administration Officer

Celebrating over 20 years in the industry, this fast-growing small family business who specialises in the design and construction of luxury custom homes and renovations in Perth.

You will be responsible for providing hands on admin support to the project team as well as carrying out accounting duties for the wider business. 

Working approximately 25 to 30 hours per week, you will have the ability to flex your hours around your life!

Accounting Duties: 

  • Entering supplier invoices, processing invoices (matching with codes) and scheduling payment runs. 
  • Reconciling accounts payable, receivable and credit card purchases.
  • Processing payroll, superannuation and tax for employees. 
  • Preparing and analyzing weekly cash flow reports. 
  • Processing credit applications.
  • Responding to supplier enquiries and liaising with banks and mortage brokers. 
  • Liaise with the Bookkeeper in relation to BAS enquiries. 

Administration Duties: 

  • General HR support including entering employee paperwork associated with staff employment changes E.g. Pay, employment arrangement, annual leave and sick leave. 
  • lodging workers compensation claims and liaising with employee insurance provider. 
  • Monitoring and tracking of company vehicles. 
  • Monitoring and following up on permit refunds. 
  • Assisting with Contracts Administration. 
  • Updating supplier price lists and general administration duties. 

About You:

  • You will have experience working in a similar role with a high level of confidentiality and commercially sensitive information. 
  • You will have experience using Xero software (highly desirable but not essential) 
  • You will be familiar with construction terminology and a some level of understanding of sales contracts. (highly desirable)
